The Hacienda Riquelme Resort is set close to the El Valle mountains and the views from the villa is stunning. The resort has been built around a 19th century, colonial style building (Hacienda) which is the former residence of the Riquelme family.

The whole emphasis of this resort is one of peace and tranquillity with wonderfully landscaped gardens.
The challenging 18 hole golf course, designed by Jack Nicklaus, with complicated approaches to the greens, challenging bunkers and all set amongst wild flowers, olive trees and lakes.

Places to visit - Beaches are plentiful in Murcia with a coastline which stretches over 271km you are bound to find a favourite spot, visit San Pedro or Lo Pagan for long sandy beaches that stretch for miles.

There are also fabulous beaches at Pilar de la Horadada quiet and unspoilt with sand dunes. The historic town of Murcia with a magnificant cathedral is only 20mins from the Resort. The city is largely pedestrianised making it very safe to browse around the shops at your leisure.

The historic town of Cartagena is close by, steeped in naval history with one of the deepest natural harbours in Europe, the town has a rich cultural heritage dating back from before the Romans.
Further afield there are the many attactions of Benedorm with Terra Mitica Theme Park and Terra Natura Wildlife Park approximately 2 hours drive away from the resort.
